Used to expand and add USB ports when the number of USB ports is insufficient. Available with bare board and acrylic shell options, transparent shell. Built-in power switching circuit, it can be powered by computer USB or external DC power supply.
USB ports have built-in fuses to provide over-current protection.
Multiple large-capacity filter capacitors are onboard to fully ensure power quality and working stability.
USB2.0 high-speed transmission, the measured file copy speed can reach more than 50MB/S.
When the intelligent identification device is inserted, the corresponding interface LED will light up automatically.
The upstream end is connected to a computer or Android phone or tablet.
On the downstream end, multiple USB ports can be separated to connect USB devices, such as keyboard, mouse, USB flash drive, Bluetooth receiver, serial port, emulator and other USB devices.
main feature
● Brand new original FE MTT master control, USB2.0 480Mbps speed, the measured speed is greater than 50MB/S.
● No driver required, directly supports Windows, Linux, Android, etc., plug and play.
● The upstream USB port connected to the computer and the expanded downstream USB port have large capacitor filtering to ensure pure power and stable and reliable communication.
● Automatic power switching, low-power equipment keyboard, mouse and USB flash drive do not require external power supply and can be used after being plugged into the computer. When using high-power equipment such as mobile hard drives, USB 4G cards, and fan lights, plug in the DC power supply and automatically switch from the computer USB port to the DC power supply.
● Intelligent identification, only when the USB device is working properly, the LED of the corresponding interface will light up.
● Automatic sleep mode. The USB port connected to the computer has a device indicator light. When at least one device is plugged in, the LED will light up. If there is no device, it will turn off automatically after about 2 seconds and enter energy-saving mode.
●Side USB layout, with a spacing of 11mm, can insert wider USB devices, and can use 7 USB devices at the same time.
●The computer is connected with a 500mA fuse to protect the computer USB interface, and the downstream USB interface is equipped with a 2A fuse to drive high-current devices.
●Rolled edge USB interface, easy to insert and use.
LED lighting instructions:
The LED will only light up after connecting to the upstream computer and establishing data communication. It doesn't turn on when plugged in.
1. The USB HUB is connected to the computer, but no device is connected downstream: plug it into the computer, and after a few seconds, the USB-C LED lights up, indicating that the connection to the computer is successful. If the downstream interfaces are all floating, the LED will automatically turn off after a few seconds and enter the energy-saving sleep state.
1. Connect the USB HUB to the computer and insert the device downstream: Plug it into the computer. After a few seconds, the USB-C LED lights up, indicating that the computer is connected. The LED corresponding to the USB port of the inserted device lights up, indicating that the device has been successfully connected. When the device is plugged in, the LED will remain on.
The USB devices mentioned here refer to USB devices that can transmit data, such as keyboard and mouse, U disk, serial port, etc. Devices that cannot transmit data, such as LED lights and small fans, will not be recognized.
Power supply description:
Whether you need to plug in an independent power supply depends on whether the USB port of your upstream host (i.e. computer, tablet, mobile phone) can meet the current needs of downstream devices (such as U disk, mouse, hard disk, etc.). Individual circumstances are different and you need to make your own judgment.
Please use 5V power supply for 5V model USB HUB.
The 7-28V model has a rated voltage of 9-24V and a limit voltage of 7-28V. It can use 9V, 12V, and 24V power supplies (the voltage mentioned here refers to the power supply voltage input from the DC port, and the USB data voltage is always 5V.).
The power interface is DC5.5-2.1, and it is also compatible with DC5.5-2.5 plugs. The polarity is inner + outer -.
1. Do not plug in the DC power supply, use the upstream USB port for power supply: generally calculated as 500mA, suitable for downstream plug-in small current devices, such as keyboards, mice, U disks and other devices that consume very little power. At this time, high current devices such as 4G network cards, hard drives, etc. cannot be driven.
2. Plug in the DC power supply: The power that can be loaded depends on the power of the inserted power supply * 0.8 times, because some margin must be reserved. For example, if you plug in a 5V/3A power adapter, it is recommended that the total load be below 2.5A.
It is recommended that the maximum load should not exceed 80% of the power supply's calibration value.
requires attention:
1. The longer the USB cable, the more likely it is that there will be insufficient power supply. Therefore, when using a longer USB cable (such as more than 1m), it is recommended to plug in an independent power supply.
2. The current that can be loaded is limited: Each downstream USB port is integrated with a 2A fuse, so a single port can load a maximum current of 2A, but the total maximum load current is about 8A instead of 16A.
3. The current that the USB port can carry is not equal to the output current: the actual output current depends on the device's own needs. It's not that if you plug in a 5A power supply, the device will consume 5A.
4. The maximum output current is not the charging current: each USB port can carry a maximum current of 2A (provided that the power of the inserted power supply is sufficient), but the charging current is not 2A. For details, please see: Charging Instructions
Charging instructions:
Many customers buy them for charging, especially for mobile phones, but they cannot reach the ideal current. Here is an explanation of the charging mechanism of smartphones:
When the mobile phone is connected to a computer, the charging current is automatically limited to 0.45-0.5A internally to avoid damaging the computer USB port. Because the load capacity of the USB port of most computers does not exceed 0.5A.
Connecting to a USB HUB is equivalent to connecting to a computer, so the charging current is also limited to less than 0.5A.
It does not mean that a large power supply is provided, and the mobile phone will charge with a large current. As long as it enters the data connection state (that is, the mobile phone recognizes the computer), the charging current will be very small. Therefore, it is only suitable for mobile phone standby or light load to maintain power.
If you want to achieve fast charging, please use the original special charger of your mobile phone.
